The complete set of five maps of Ireland by Gerard Mercator, famous for devising the famous Mercator Projection of the world. The maps are: a map of Ireland, orientated with north to the right; a two-sheet map, with north to the top; eastern Ulster; and Udrone, now County Carlow in Leinster. A very decorative set.
